Krispy Kreme relocated its headquarters to a former warehouse, transforming it into a modern industrial office featuring doughnut laboratories, cafés, stadium seating, multiple conference rooms, and open workspace for collaboration.

Pivotal provided custom architectural lighting design services to enhance the new facility’s working environment. While developing the lighting design concept, Pivotal studied various approaches, including the following: facilitating wayfinding in large open spaces, balancing electric lighting with existing daylighting, and effectively utilizing the facility’s height while providing proper illumination levels at all workstations.

During the fixture selection process, Pivotal collaborated with the architect to integrate Krispy Kreme’s iconic brand. Custom-built RGBW LED beacon fixtures create an integrated color-changing “dot” wall controlled via DMX.
