Pivotal provided exterior lighting design to brighten this downtown Chicago office's street presence. Complementing the surface finishes, design phase one incorporates blue LED uplighting that fills the expansive entry alcove. Contrasting warm white LED lighting at ground level provides a welcoming illumination layer while respecting the historic 1913 base façade.

A new digital control system provides dimming and maximum flexibility while utilizing the existing conduit and wiring to reduce the cost and installation complexity. The new LED lighting enhances the building's visual impact and significantly improves the ambient illumination at street level, all while consuming less than half the energy of the previous metal-halide system.
